Java Backend Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a Java Senior Engineer at Aeris Communications, based in Aeris India (Noida or Gurgaon), working in the Telematics team to develop an IoT platform for smart cars. Your main responsibility will be designing and implementing the Connected Car platform with GenAI services. Additionally, you will conduct research on cutting-edge GenAI technologies to build AI Agents and ensure the successful delivery of committed GenAI Objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Passionate, innovative, and willing to explore and challenge yourself and your team continuously, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Java programming language with the ability to quickly learn new languages like NodeJS and Python - Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST, XML, JSON, Message Queues, and databases (both relational and non-relational) - Basic understanding of Design Patterns, Design Principles, and Data Structures - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact proactively and effectively with product and engineering management and project stakeholders in an agile environment - Possess at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with knowledge in electrical engineering being a plus Qualification Required: - Minimum of 3-7 years of industry experience - Experience with Bitbucket/git, Jenkins, Docker, Messaging (JMS/AMQP/MQTT/Kafka), AWS, Redis, Junit, Security, Event-Driven Architecture (CQRS, Axon, Reactor, etc.) - Experience in developing with NodeJS - Telecom-related product experience - Ability to understand and debug in a Google Cloud environment - Previous experience working with geographically distributed teams Additional Company Details: Aeris is committed to diversity and values a mix of varying ethnicities, religions, and cultures within its workforce.,
