Java Backend Developer - Microservices Architecture

As a Java Backend Developer or Java FS Developer with experience in Java, Spring boot, and Microservices, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Quickly grasp the environment's architecture layout to facilitate quick issue identification and troubleshooting as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). - Understand data models, service level dependencies, and data flows between services, showcasing a data-focused approach. - Utilize solid programming skills with Java 8 or above, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and RESTful Web services. - Implement applications based on Microservice architecture patterns using Spring boot and Docker containers, including experience with ORM tools like Hibernate. - Deploy docker containerized solutions in a Kubernetes Environment hosted on Azure/AWS/Google, with proficiency in IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Spring tool suite. - Handle complex nested and recursive queries and stored procedures, along with a good understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN. - Familiarity with DevOps CICD pipelines and tool chain like ADO, Jenkins, etc., with an Agile mindset and experience working in an Agile environment using ADO, JIRA, etc. - Collaborate effectively with multiple tech and functional teams globally, showcasing ITSM incident, change, problem management, technical collaborations, problem-solving, and RCA skills. - Hands-on exposure with release, change, and deployment implementations on Cloud, with good mentoring skills and technical documentation knowledgebase creation and maintenance. Good To Have Skills: - Experience with Angular JS, preferably Angular 6 using TypeScript. - Knowledge and hands-on experience with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, orchestration automation, and configuration management using Chef, Ansible, Puppet. - Exposure to Kafka, Spark, NodeJS, or React JS.
