Java Backend Developer

Qualification

Role Description

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using a microservices architecture
• This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environmentResponsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop RESTful APIs and scalable microservices architecture
• Manage PostgreSQL databases and write efficient, production-grade SQL
• Integrate AWS cloud services like EC2
• Can collaborate with frontend developers as well
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and software planning
• Contribute to automation, testing, and deployment processes

Technical Skills:

• Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Cloud AWS(EC2, etc)
• PostgreSQL and advanced SQL querying
• GitHub for source control
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Docker for containerization Good to have or Mindset
• Strong problem-solving orientation
• Strong expertise in AWS (AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification is a plus)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (monitoring, observability, security)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management (IAM)
