Java Back-End Developer Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Back-End Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side logic, APIs, and databases for web-based applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in Java, microservices, and modern back-end tools and practices. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust back-end systems using Java (Spring Boot / Java EE). Build RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components, databases, and third-party systems. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices. Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality products. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues as they arise. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development teams and attend sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Technical and Professional Requirements (Preferable) Languages & Frameworks: Proficient in Java (8+) Spring Boot, Spring MVC Databases: Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL APIs: Experience in building RESTful web services Tools & Technologies: Version Control: Git Build Tools: Maven CI/CD: Jenkins or GitLab CI Containerization: Basic knowledge of Docker Testing: JUnit, Mockito IDE: IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse Web Server: Apache Tomcat Preferred Skills: Basic understanding of Microservices Architecture Exposure to any cloud platform Familiarity with Agile methodologies Problem-solving and debugging skills Additional Responsibilities: Stay updated with backend and Java technologies Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing Support application deployment and maintenance Educational Requirements: Any graduation Eligible both fresher and experienced
