Role Description

Join our team and work on regular projects converting scholarly articles and journals from PDF to JATS XML (NISO JATS Version 1.3). This role requires accuracy, speed, and a deep knowledge of XML tagging standards relevant to academic publishing. ✍️💻

What You’ll Do:

Convert PDFs to JATS XML with full metadata tagging, including authors, affiliations, ORCID, funding, references, and DOIs. 🔄📑

Ensure 100% quality compliance and schema validation. ✅📊

Collaborate with editors and technical teams to deliver error-free XML files on strict deadlines. ⏰👥

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on JATS XML conversion experience. 🕑

Familiarity with XML tools like Oxygen XML Editor or equivalent. 🛠️

In-depth understanding of JATS 1.3 tagging standards and publisher workflows. 📚🔍

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines. 🎯
