Japanese Language Specialist

As a Japanese-speaking Customer Service Specialist at SolarEdge, you will be part of our Global Technical Centre team, providing innovative solutions for the Japan international market. Your primary responsibility will be to answer inbound chats, e-mails, and cases from customers and contractors promptly and courteously. By documenting all relevant information into our call tracking system, you will ensure efficient communication and resolution of issues. In this role, you will utilize your Japanese Language Proficiency (JLPT N2/N3) to work in Japan Standard Time, assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing grid tie solar inverter issues during product installations. Your tasks will also involve collaborating with operations to validate part authorizations, updating the knowledge database with new troubleshooting information, and managing the monitoring database of customer installations. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting all activities in the ticketing system, creating layouts on the monitoring site as per customer requests, and demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, peers, and managers. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and utilize Microsoft Office products efficiently will be essential for success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should have 1-3 years of experience in professional customer service and technical helpline support, along with a background in engineering or technical qualifications in electrical and electronics. Basic understanding of IP network technology and experience with solar electric products will be beneficial. Fluency in Japanese (Read, Write, or Speak) at JLPT N2/N3 level is a must-have requirement.
