ITI Trainee Operator

• The ITI Trainee Operator will assist in operating and maintaining PVC extrusion machines, handling basic production activities, and learning all related processes including mixing, loading, extrusion monitoring, cutting, and packing. This is a hands-on role suitable for fresh ITI graduates seeking a technical production career.

Key Responsibilities

A. Extrusion Line Support

• Assist in setting up and operating PVC extrusion machines.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and machine parameters under supervision.
• Help in feeding raw materials as per instructions.

B. Production Activity

• Support in mixing, loading, and handling compounding materials.
• Assist in the cutting and handling of PVC panels/flutes after extrusion.
• Coordinate with supervisors for material movement and line changeovers.

C. Quality & Process Compliance

• Perform basic visual quality checks.
• Report defects, abnormal sounds, or machine issues immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness around the machine area.

D. Machine Knowledge & Skill Development

• Learn extrusion process parameters, safety norms, and machine operations.
• Support preventive maintenance activities (cleaning heaters, dies, etc.).
• Follow SOPs and attend training sessions regularly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: ITI in Electrical, Fitter, or Mechanical.
• Experience: Freshers or 0–1 year experience in manufacturing (preferred).
• Basic understanding of machine operation and industrial safety.
• Physically fit and willing to work in shift operations.
• Good learning attitude and discipline.

Working Conditions

• Shift-based role (Rotational shifts).
• Factory environment with machines, heaters, mixers, etc.
• PPE usage mandatory (training will be provided).
