PVC Machine operator

Job Description

Set up, operate, and monitor PVC extrusion machines according to job specifications. Adjust machine settings including temperature, speed, pressure, and feed rates for optimal extrusion quality. Load PVC raw materials into the machine hopper and ensure continuous feeding. Perform regular quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection to ensure products meet specifications. Monitor output to detect and correct any irregularities or malfunctions during the extrusion process. Maintain accurate production records, including output data, material usage, and machine performance. Perform routine maintenance on machines and assist with repairs as needed. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient production environment. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel.
