ITI electrician

Job description

· Respect and responds to the direction given by the Project department

· Perform all duties of an Electrician

· Accesses, monitors and controls Building Automaton System when required

· Perform preventative maintenance inspections as per schedule

· Repairs and maintains all electrical/electronic distribution system, equipment, and appliances (i.e., high voltage transformers, switch gear, motors, controls, etc.)

· Recognises electrical/electronic problems and makes repairs when necessary

· Maintain emergency lighting, fire alarm, clock system, intercom systems and all building life safety equipment

· Install new circuits, new lighting, receptacles, etc. This may include pulling cables and wiring.

· Perform electrical repairs to appliances and equipment in the operation theatre, kitchens, hostels, offices and classrooms

· Prepare estimates for work orders and requests material required to complete the job.

· Keep necessary records for electrical inspection and documentation for NABH program

· Assist in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction.

· Document activities completely to ensure appropriate information is available regarding each call.

· Coordinate emergency services with other medical and supportive activities.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the HOD.

· Adheres to the rules and regulations of the Be well Hospitals and assures that work performed is in keeping with the established standards of the NABH.

· Perform any other tasks and duties as required by the management.
