As a Network Security IT Technologist at Medtronic, you play a critical role in securing the computing environment and preventing security-related issues. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and implement security policies, leveraging your technical and business analysis skills to build effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Implement Global Security Office policies in Firewall and IPS platforms - Design and implement security policy for infrastructure and applications in collaboration with Medtronic employees, customers, Global Security, approved vendors, and Connectivity team members - Utilize business analysis skills to capture requirements and technical skills to build solutions - Experience with automating firewall rules or network configuration in Ansible or Terraform is a plus Other responsibilities may include: - Implementing firewall rules for customer requests on-prem, Hybrid Cloud, and Cloud - Designing, planning, installing, monitoring, and supporting Firewall and IPS infrastructure platforms - Providing operational support including participation in an on-call rotation - Maintaining standard operation procedures and providing guidance, coaching, and training to others In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may also be involved in other duties as assigned by the organization.
