Job Description

As a Network Security IT Technologist at Medtronic, you play a critical role in securing the computing environment and preventing security-related issues. Your responsibilities include implementing Global Security Office policies in Firewall and IPS platforms, collaborating with various stakeholders to design and implement security policies, and utilizing business analysis and technical skills to build solutions. Experience in automating firewall rules or network configuration in Ansible or Terraform is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Implement firewall rules for customer requests for applications and infrastructure hosted on-prem, Hybrid Cloud, and Cloud - Design, plan, install, monitor, test, and support Firewall and IPS infrastructure platforms - Provide operational support including participation in an on-call rotation - Maintain standard operation procedures - Offer guidance, coaching, and training to others Qualifications Required: - Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls - Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices - Proficiency in business analysis and technical skills - Experience in automating firewall rules or network configuration is desirable At Medtronic, you will have the opportunity to lead with purpose and contribute to changing healthcare worldwide.
