IT Technical Support

IT Technical Support Experience Required: 3+ years in IT support Qualification: Network & Infra, and system administration. Location: Kottakal, Malappuram Job Purpose: We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Technical Staff member to serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for immediate resolution of hardware, software, and network problems while managing infrastructure, security, and IT projects Key Responsibilities: 1. Primary IT Support & Issue Resolution Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues (hardware, software, network & Infrastructure). Diagnose and resolve technical problems immediately or escalate as needed. Provide timely updates to end-users on issue status and solutions. 2. Network & Infrastructure Management Configure and maintain WAN, LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and security, ensuring minimal downtime. 3. Server & System Administration Manage Ubuntu and Windows Server OS, including migrations and hardware maintenance. Oversee virtualization, backups, and data storage systems. 4. End-User Support & Hardware Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Support HMS, O365, Google Workspace, and email systems. 5. IT Documentation & Asset Management Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and system documentation. 6. Security & Compliance Monitor and respond to security breaches, system failures, and patches. 7. Project Coordination Coordinate IT projects (upgrades, deployments). Technical Skills: Networking : TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP Servers : Windows Server, Ubuntu, Active Directory. Cloud : O365, Google Workspace. Hardware : Troubleshooting PCs, Laptops, printers, servers, switches, routers etc.. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
