IT System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Network Monitoring:

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure across branches to ensure uptime and performance.
• Perform proactive monitoring of networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), servers, and endpoints.
• Handle firewall configuration, support, and management (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, etc.).

Dialer & Communication Systems:

• Provide support for outbound/inbound dialers including PRI and GSM-based systems.
• Troubleshoot and escalate dialer-related issues to vendors if required.

Server & Application Support:

• Support and administer Windows and Linux servers (installation, patching, backups, etc.).
• Conduct application testing and monitor performance for business-critical apps.

Endpoint & Asset Management:

• Handle L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Manage device allocation, software installations, imaging, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update asset inventory across branches.

Incident & Escalation Management:

• Respond to branch escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Analyze and document root causes of major incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Raise and follow up on service requests with ISPs or hardware/service vendors.

Retail & Remote Support:

• Provide remote IT support for retail branch operations.
• Maintain internal infrastructure components like routers, switches, printers, phones, and patch panels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience with firewall devices and basic network security principles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
• Hands-on experience with dialer technology (Avaya, Genesys, etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and service request/ticketing systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
