IT System Administrator

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems. Your role will involve overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, as well as monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues as needed. You will be managing IT projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, and evaluating new technologies to make recommendations for upgrades or enhancements in both software and hardware. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001, will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner. Collaboration with other departments to identify and address IT needs and requirements will also be part of your daily tasks, along with staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT management. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in IT management. Strong technical skills in networking, system administration, and cybersecurity are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Your leadership and team management abilities will be crucial, along with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards is required, and additional certifications would be considered a plus.
