IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician organization ke users ko day-to-day technical assistance provide karta hai. Is role ka main focus hardware/software troubleshooting, network support, and IT systems ki smooth functioning ensure karna hota hai.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Support & Troubleshooting

• End-users ke technical issues resolve karna (hardware & software)
• Windows OS, MS Office, email, and common applications ki problems fix karna
• System performance issues diagnose & resolve karna
• Remote support tools ka use karke off-site users ko support dena

2. Hardware Support

• Desktop, laptop, printer, and peripherals ki basic repair & troubleshooting
• Hardware replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, peripherals)
• Device performance monitoring

3. Software Support

• Software installation, configuration & updates
• Application-level issues resolve karna
• License management ka assistance

4. Network Support (Basics Only)

• LAN/WiFi connectivity issues ka troubleshooting
• IP configuration, network testing, ping/diagnostic commands use karna
• Network printers & shared folders access support

5. IT Ticketing & Documentation

• IT helpdesk tickets log karna, track karna, close karna
• Issues & solutions ki proper documentation maintain karna
• Daily/weekly reports prepare karna (if required)

Required Skills:

• Basic–Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS & common applications
• Hardware troubleshooting fundamentals
• Networking basics (LAN, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing)
• Good communication & customer-handling skills
• Logical thinking & problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–2 years experience in IT support/helpdesk
• Basic IT certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, CCNA basics) optional but beneficial
