Role Overview: As a Network Engineer, you play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and optimal performance. Your responsibilities include planning, deploying, and troubleshooting network systems and components to meet business objectives and technological requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. - Develop network architecture plans to address business needs and scalability requirements. - Implement and oversee network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. - Monitor network performance, usage, and capacity to identify and resolve issues. - Diagnose and resolve network issues, outages, and performance problems promptly. - Document network configurations, topologies, and procedures comprehensively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications. - Adhere to change management processes and protocols for controlled implementation of network changes and updates. - Coordinate with network equipment vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and services procurement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Possess professional certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalents. - Demonstrated knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. - Proficiency in network routing and switching technologies, including Sophos firewall and Wi-Fi from other leading vendors. - Experience with network security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. - Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification would be advantageous. - Desirable experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure.,
