Role & responsibilities

- IT Infrastructure Support:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and network hardware.
• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.

- ISO-Related Documentation:

• Develop, maintain, and update ISO-related documentation as per industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements. Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Implement and monitor quality management systems.

- User Support:

• Provide technical assistance and training to end-users.
• Resolve user issues related to IT systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.

- Project Management:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurements and services.

Required Technical Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Operating Systems like Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
• Strong knowledge and exposure to server operating systems like Windows Server and various Linux distributions.
• Strong understanding of network concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs. - Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network security practices and firewall management.
• Familiarity with hardware components, diagnostics, and repair.
• Experience with servers, storage devices, and backup solutions.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of enterprise software and applications, including email servers (e.g., Exchange), collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint), and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server).
• Proficiency in IT service management tools
• Skills in scripting languages for automating tasks and managing systems.
• Experience with automation tools - Experience with system administration and IT infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of storage solutions and backup technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Experience with security tools (e.g., antivirus, intrusion detection systems).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security, privacy and cybersecurity requirements), ISO/IEC27017:2015 Information Technology- Security Techniques- Code of Practice for Information Security Controls for Cloud Services, ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management System) and ISO 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management System)
• Experience with documentation, audits, and compliance related to ISO standards.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies/industry trends and its application into operations and activities
