Job Description

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. knowledge of processes including Incidents, Problems, Changes

2. knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux)

3. knowledge of application server administration (Tomcat, IIS, Apache, Nginx)

4. knowledge of message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and data buses (Biztalk / Kafka)

5. knowledge of monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Zabbix

6. knowledge of APIs and system integration (including REST, SOAP) and Postman, Swagger
tools

7. basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell)

8. knowledge of network protocols / network services

9. operation of ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, SCCD)

10. ability to analyse logs and diagnose application/network problems

11. basic knowledge of containers and virtualisation (Docker, VMware, Kubernetes, AKS)

12. knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) (optional)
