Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and set up laptops and desktops at workstations.
  • Arrange and configure hardware and software to meet user and business requirements.
  • Provide first-level support through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of office IT assets and ensure their optimal functioning.
  • Manage and monitor system backups to prevent data loss and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement security protocols, updates, and upgrades to safeguard systems against threats.
  • Perform regular maintenance of operating systems, hardware, and software to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for IT-related requirements and escalations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
  • Prior experience supporting UK-based teams (desirable).
