IT Solutions Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and delivery of sophisticated AI-based solutions on a Cloud-Based platform. You will engage with business collaborators, product owners, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions that are operational, efficient, and scalable. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and overseeing the implementation of complex software systems using Machine Learning and AI-based services. - Ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical requirements. - Providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of software developers, AI/ML developers, data scientists, and UI/UX developers. - Monitoring the performance metrics of the deployment environment and collaborating with the current team of architects and service monitoring team. - Documenting existing systems architecture, recommending improvements, and exploring alternatives. - Leveraging your experience in end-to-end software delivery to produce production-grade AI and ML applications. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years as an architect developing cloud solutions. - Strong hands-on knowledge of software development using programming languages like C# and Python, following the Well-Architected Framework. - Proficiency in API and schema design, with an understanding of versioning and compatibility strategies. - Expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly with Azure, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK, containers, registries, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Kibana and Grafana. - Experience in developing software solutions on container platforms like OpenShift, AWS, and/or Azure. - Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Experience in deploying and monitoring AI models in production environments using AWS Sagemaker or Azure ML Studio. - Familiarity with Agentic AI development frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph is an advantage. - Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical collaborators. - Proven track record of collaborative work in a team-oriented environment.
