IT Service Operations LAN Engineer

As an IT Service LAN Operations Engineer at Dassault Systmes in Pune, Maharashtra, you will have the opportunity to unlock your potential with a global leader in Scientific Software Engineering. Your role will involve co-managing the IT infrastructure across the Pune campus and working on various IT technologies. You will be responsible for participating in new project deployments, ensuring IT compliance on various fronts, and more. You will be tasked with managing Local Area Network (LAN) support for the Pune campus and other 3DS offices in India, participating in LAN deployment projects across offices, and upgrading IOS of network switches to enhance security. Additionally, you will deploy, manage, and support enterprise wireless networks, ensure regular configuration backups of networking devices, and monitor network devices for possible failures. Collaborating with business leaders, you will aim to understand and meet their expectations, ensure SLA targets are achieved for assigned IT requests, and maintain all relevant network-related documentation on a day-to-day basis. Your qualifications should include a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in LAN infrastructure support, a BE/B Tech or equivalent degree in technical streams, and a professional certification such as CCNA. Basic knowledge of Windows client OS for troubleshooting network-related issues and experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure will be advantageous. In this role, you should possess a working knowledge of Cisco networking gears, be customer service-oriented with a problem-solving attitude, and have decent written and verbal communication skills. Being a team player and flexible to work overtime and over weekends when needed are essential attributes. You may also be assigned additional duties based on job roles or organizational needs.
