Job Description

As a IT Sales Consultant for IT Hardware, Software, Infrastructure, and Services, you will be responsible for driving sales of our comprehensive range of IT solutions, including hardware, software, networking infrastructure, and managed services. You will manage the full sales cycle from identifying prospects to closing deals. This role requires a deep understanding of IT solutions, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Execution: o Identify and target key market opportunities, verticals, and clients needing IT hardware, software, infrastructure, and managed services. o Work closely with marketing teams to create tailored campaigns that showcase the unique value of our IT products and services. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: o Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, including C-level executives and IT directors. o Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions (hardware, software, networking, etc.). o Manage the complete sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales. o Ensure client satisfaction and explore upsell and cross-sell opportunities post-sale. Product Expertise: o Maintain an in-depth understanding of the full portfolio of IT hardware, software,infrastructure, and managed services offered by the company. o Present and demonstrate products to potential clients, highlighting features, benefits, and how the solutions meet their business needs. o Stay up-to-date on technological advancements in IT infrastructure and services to stay competitive in the market. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: o Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status. o Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, including updates on revenue and pipeline progress. o Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions to refine strategies and improve sales outcomes. Collaboration with Internal Teams: o Work closely with technical teams, product specialists, and solution architects to deliver customized solutions to clients. o Partner with customer service and support teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of sold solutions. o Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure alignment on messaging and promotional activities. Key Requirements: Experience: o At least 1-2 years of sales experience in IT hardware, software, infrastructure, or managed services. o Proven success in selling IT solutions to businesses of varying sizes, including enterprise-level organizations. o Strong track record of managing the full sales cycle and closing complex deals. Skills: o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. o In-depth knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking infrastructure, and managed services. o Strong business acumen with the ability to identify customer needs and propose tailored IT solutions. o Results-driven with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets. Education: o Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). o Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) are a plus. Other: o Strong consultative sales approach and problem-solving abilities. o Ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts. o Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
