IT Quality Sr Analyst - Assistant Vice President

As a Software Quality Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new features and existing functionalities, utilizing AI LLM models for test case creation. - Performing various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and system integration testing (SIT). - Conducting API testing using appropriate tools. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages. - Identifying, documenting, tracking, and prioritizing software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting. - Collaborating effectively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and maintain quality throughout the SDLC. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. - Generating clear and concise test reports, summaries, and metrics to communicate test progress and product quality to stakeholders. - Participating in risk assessment and mitigation planning for new features and releases. - Maintaining clear and thorough documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Banking or KYC knowledge. - 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Proficiency in designing and writing comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with tool-based automated testing, including developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, NUnit, Pytest). - Solid programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java). - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-based test case generation, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and ISTQB certification or similar quality assurance certifications.
