Job Description

Providing support to branche for all IT-related issues, including administration of Windows Servers, Data Backup.

Conducting DR Drills for Critical Systems. Reporting server utilisation to the management; interfacing with vendors (for hardware &

network-related issues). Managing server backup on tape drive and D2D using Symantec Exec, virus updates on all desktops &

servers. Documenting IT Operations, & periodic activities; performing periodic maintenance on all critical IT equipment. Managing

vendors and renewing AMCs. Support for various banking applications.

Highlights

• Monitoring of system alerts (OP Manager) and assist to resolve issues related to system hardware.

• Exposure in installation, configuration and administration of Windows Servers (2008,2012 and 2016), Windows Client OS.

• Resource monitoring and analysis for capacity planning of Servers.

• Checking the status of Server Backups. (BACKUP EXEC)

• Testing Backups and Restores.

• OS patching (WSUS server/Manage Engine)

• Performs day-to-day maintenance and installation of server, backups and storage.

• Conducting DR and BCP drill for Critical Systems.

• Actively engaged in Change Management.

• Managing Server AMC for PAN India

• Actively engaged in the preparation and updating of the IT policy for the bank.

• Facilitated the relocation & set-up of IT infrastructure during shifting of the branch from Nariman Point to Lower Parel,

involving 200 users, with zero impact on operations

• Facilitated in Completion of NEFT 24*7.

• Facilitated in Migration of SFMS Application from Version 5.8 to 6.0.

• Facilitated on all the IT Audits.

• Consistently ensured all changes to the IT infrastructure were completed during Green Zone, involving those hours where

there will be minimal impact to business
