Key Responsibilities:
# 1. IT Systems Support* Assist in administering desktop computers, servers, printers, switches, and networking devices.* Support installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of IT hardware, peripherals, and software.* Perform daily system monitoring to verify the availability and health of hardware, services, and backups.* Conduct data backup operations and assist in recovery and archiving tasks in coordination with senior staff.* Implement software patches, OS updates, antivirus definitions, and IT security policies under supervision.* Perform resource optimization and report performance issues or risks to the HOD or designated seniors.# 2. Network & User Management* Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, internet/intranet systems, and resolve user-level connectivity issues.* Create, modify, and disable user accounts and access controls as per SOPs with appropriate approvals.* Monitor endpoint security and report suspicious activity or performance degradation.* Coordinate with telecom vendors on link issues and escalate unresolved problems for root cause analysis.# 3. Quality Systems & Compliance Support* Provide assistance in the administration of LIMS, eDMS, and other QC-related software applications.* Participate in preparation and updates of SOPs, protocols, job descriptions, and organograms.* Assist in preparing and reviewing qualification protocols and reports (IQ/OQ/PQ) under guidance.* Support the qualification of new or modified systems, software, and IT infrastructure.# 4. Documentation & Audit Readiness* Update asset inventories, change logs, and system documentation regularly.* Assist in handling internal and regulatory audits related to IT and Quality systems.* Support preparation of master validation plans, change control records, and impact assessments.* Coordinate with cross-functional departments and vendors for system-related compliance requirements.# 5. General Responsibilities* Attend GMP and IT training sessions as per schedule.* Support other assigned tasks based on changes in job role, departmental requirements, or project needs.* Maintain discipline, documentation integrity, and compliance in all responsibilities handled. Other Requirements:* 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably in a regulated industry.* Basic knowledge of servers, networking, Windows OS, antivirus, and backup systems.* Exposure to quality systems like LIMS, eDMS, or QMS platforms is a plus.* Good documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.* Willingness to learn and grow within IT infrastructure and GMP compliance domains.* Ability to follow SOPs and take direction from senior IT and QA staff.* Willing to work in a cross-functional team, support audits, and flexible to take additional responsibilities.
