Job Description

Job Details : Role & responsibilities - The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organizations IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability
This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems, server management as well as providing technical support to users
Key Responsibilities: System Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance, security, and availability of IT infrastructure
Installation and Configuration: Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and network services
User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure security and proper resource usage
Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures like firewalls, anti-virus systems, and intrusion detection systems
Backup and Recovery: Create and maintain system backups, and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues that arise, often acting as a first line of support
Network Management: Configure and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure
Documentation: Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures to help in troubleshooting and training
Automation: Implement automation scripts for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure systems adhere to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
