**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As an IT Infrastructure Engineer Support at Hitachi Vantara, you will be responsible for the management, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues to ensure business continuity for the organization's IT systems. Your role will involve hands-on experience in technologies like Windows administration, focusing on maintaining uptime, addressing priority incidents (P1, P2, P3, and P4), and ensuring timely resolutions to minimize the impact on business operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical system and infrastructure issues. - Perform day-to-day management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows servers. - Handle DFS management, Certificate management, performance tuning, and security configurations. - Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and high availability of critical systems. - Conduct regular health checks for the server infrastructure and automate repeated tasks. - Troubleshoot virtual machine performance issues and manage snapshots. - Monitor daily backup jobs, troubleshoot failed backups, and perform restores as necessary. - Monitor infrastructure systems, addressing alerts related to system performance, availability, and resource usage. - Proactively identify potential issues and apply fixes to prevent critical incidents. - Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management across the Windows environment. - Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and incidents. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support. - Hands-on experience with Windows administration. - Strong knowledge of DFS management, Certificate management, performance tuning, and security configurations. - Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and high availability of critical systems. - Proficient in troubleshooting virtual machine performance issues and managing snapshots. - Familiarity with monitoring infrastructure systems and addressing alerts. - Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and patch management. - Strong documentation skills for system configurations, changes, and incidents. **About the Company:** Hitachi Vantara is a global team of innovators dedicated to co-creating meaningful solutions to complex challenges.
