IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer

As an IT Engineer at The Thar Dry Port in Jaipur (Hirnoda), your role involves managing and supporting the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. - Managing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and fiber cable networks, including configuration and troubleshooting. - Configuring and maintaining firewalls, routers, and access control systems for secure connectivity. - Managing lease line, PRI line, and MPLS line, monitoring performance, and coordinating with ISPs for resolution. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting telephone extensions, EPABX systems, IP cameras, and NVRs. - Performing OS installation, patching, and maintenance of Windows and MS Office applications. - Troubleshooting and managing email clients (MS Outlook configuration) for smooth communication. - Managing the antivirus console, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. - Maintaining IT Asset Management records and overseeing asset lifecycle. - Handling IT procurement activities from requirement gathering to vendor coordination and purchase order creation. - Coordinating with external vendors and service providers for AMCs, warranty support, and IT projects. - Maintaining proper documentation of IT procedures, incidents, and asset utilization. - Providing end-user support with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Desired Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of networking protocols. - Hands-on experience in managing EPABX, CCTV, and structured cabling systems. - Knowledge of firewall solutions (FortiGate, SonicWall, etc.) and router configurations. - Analytical skills for efficient troubleshooting of IT systems. - Effective communication and vendor management skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science/Electronics or a related field. - 3-7 years of relevant experience in IT hardware, networking, and system support. - Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent are an added advantage.,
