I would like to share with you an excellent opportunity with one of our client which is the India's leading company that provides IT consulting and support services within the manufacturing and process industry. Now has entered into a long term contract with an US based Oil & Gas company to provide skilled IT resources on a T&M basis working under the direction of the their IT leadership team. Role: IT Help Desk Support (Work From Office) Salary Range: 3.00 Lacs p.a. 7.00 Lacs p.a. bracket Experience Required: 35 years Shift: Candidate should be comfortable working a straight 12-hour shift Notice Period (Preference will be given to candidates with a 30-day notice period) Description of the role: We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our team. As an IT Helpdesk Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems. Responsibilities: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems. Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure components. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Track and document all user interactions and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system. Provide training and guidance to users on basic software and hardware usage. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and IT best practices. Key Requirements: Proven work experience as an IT Helpdesk Support or similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite. Familiarity with hardware components, network protocols, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus. Location: Marol MIDC, Andheri (East), Mumbai Hours of operation: Rotational shifts 12hrs (5.30 AM- 5.30 PM in summer and 6.30 am - 6.30 PM in winter) 4 days, with 3 weekly offs. Preferable from Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane District Salary Range: INR 3.00 Lacs 7.00 Lacs p.a. About Company: The company was established in August 2017 and provides IT consulting and support services within the manufacturing and process industry. Company has entered into a long term contract with an US based Oil & Gas company to provide skilled IT resources on a T&M basis working under the direction of the their IT leadership team. The company is transforming its business on the back of heavy investments in technology around real time data capture, Big Data platforms, in-memory databases and analytical engines and elastic search services. There is also a significant push towards mobility with majority of the applications being converted into mobile apps. The company is also looking at moving towards DevOps in the near future.
