We are currently seeking an IT Finance Consultant to join our expanding IT - Finance Team. This position is based in Mumbai, India, and will directly report to the Finance IT Applications Manager. As an IT Finance Consultant at Chemours, your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and processes such as GL, AP, AR, Cost accounting, Tax, and Banking. - Gathering, validating, and translating business requirements into cohesive and integrated designs and development specifications. - Designing and developing reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements in collaboration with developers. - Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and workflows within the SAP system to optimize efficiency and accuracy. - Staying updated with the latest SAP financial functionalities and upgrades to ensure alignment with the evolving needs of the organization. - Collaborating effectively with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, finance, business administration, or equivalent background/experience. - Minimum of 10 years of SAP experience in implementing SAP FICO. - Proficiency in Classic GL, New GL, Simple Finance, Actual Costing/Material Ledger, and Inter-Company processes. - Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling business functions. - Experience in defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, design and prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions. - Hands-on configuration and design skills with the ability to lead improvement projects and work with business/operations resources. - Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Sharepoint). - Strong communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills with the ability to drive consensus. Preferred qualifications for this role: - Experience with S/4HANA Cloud. - ABAP Debugging skills.
