As an IT Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting both computer systems and the network infrastructure that connects them. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network hardware. You will also be managing security, monitoring performance, and providing technical support to users. Key Responsibilities: - Network Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware like routers, switches, and firewalls. - System Administration: Managing servers, operating systems, and software, including user access and permissions. - Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. - Troubleshooting: Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network and system issues, including hardware and software problems. - Monitoring: Monitoring network performance, identifying potential problems, and ensuring optimal system efficiency. - Backup and Recovery: Performing regular data backups and implementing disaster recovery procedures. - User Support: Providing technical support to employees, addressing their IT needs, and training them on new systems and software. - Documentation: Maintaining accurate documentation of the network and system infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and policies. Qualifications Required: - Technical Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security concepts. - Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex IT issues. - Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff. - Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects. It is typically required to have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, or CompTIA A+ can enhance job prospects. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including leave encashment and Provident Fund. The work location is in person, and the shift is during the day. Experience in IT management for at least 3 years is required for this role.
