Intercontinental Hotels Group India Private Limited is looking for IT executive to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey IT Infrastructure Management:Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and databases
Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of IT systems, implementing appropriate measures to protect against data breaches, unauthorized access, and system failures Plan and implement upgrades, migrations, and enhancements to IT infrastructure to meet evolving business needs Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions IT Project Management:Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify project risks, and manage project expectations Allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement IT Strategy and Governance:Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives Collaborate with senior management to identify IT needs, evaluate technology trends, and recommend solutions that drive innovation and efficiency Define IT policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices Establish IT governance frameworks, monitoring and reporting on IT performance, risks, and compliance Technical Support and User Management:Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of user accounts, access controls, and permissions Train and educate staff on IT tools, systems, and best practices Develop and implement user training programs and resources to enhance IT literacy and efficiency Vendor Management:Evaluate and select vendors, service providers, and technology solutions based on organizational needs and requirements Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance and optimal performance Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate support requests, and implement system integrations IT Budgeting and Cost Control:Develop and manage the IT budget, forecasting expenses, and allocating resources effectively Monitor and control IT costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements Evaluate and recommend IT investments, considering potential risks, benefits, and return on investment Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience in IT management, infrastructure management, or a similar role Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networks, and security principles Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and tools Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and governance frameworks Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing user support Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate IT teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP, are advantageous Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory requirements
