Job Description

Designation: IPDRG CODER

We are looking for a skilled IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis Related Group) Coder to join our medical coding team. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM and PCS coding, inpatient guidelines, and DRG assignment practices.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze inpatient medical records to assign accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes.
Assign and validate MS-DRG or APR-DRG based on coding and payer guidelines.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and hospital policies.
Work collaboratively with auditors and team leads to resolve queries and improve accuracy.
Maintain productivity and quality standards as per company benchmarks.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Inpatient / IPDRG coding.
Certification: CPC, CCS, or CIC (mandatory).
Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG grouping logic.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
