Job Summary:

iPaaS Workato Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Design & Development:

• Design, build, and deploy integrations using

  Workato

  to connect cloud-based and on-premise systems.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Implement, maintain, and enhance complex workflows and automation in Workato.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to performance, data mapping, and API functionality.
  

• API Management:

• Integrate third-party APIs and services, ensuring smooth data synchronization and error-free data exchange.
  
• Develop custom API connectors when required and work with RESTful APIs for integration.
  

• Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, and Data Engineers to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.
  
• Provide technical expertise and advice on integration best practices to internal teams.
  
• Ensure effective communication of integration status, issues, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Optimization & Best Practices:

• Monitor and optimize integrations for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
  
• Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in integration architecture and development.
  
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
  

• Documentation:

• Document integration processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing.
  
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of API specifications, integrations, and troubleshooting guides.
  

• Support & Maintenance:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integrations and workflows.
  
• Proactively monitor integration systems and ensure high uptime and reliability.
  
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, errors, and system failures.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience:

  3-5 years of hands-on experience developing integrations using

  Workato

  or other iPaaS platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, SnapLogic).

• Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  Workato

  , including its connectors, recipes, and workflow automation capabilities.
• Proficiency with

  REST APIs

  and

  SOAP

  services.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and integration flows.
  
• Knowledge of

  cloud platforms

  like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with

  SQL

  and relational databases for data mapping and troubleshooting.
• Experience in integrating with common enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, etc.).
  

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for troubleshooting and optimizing integrations.
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:

• Workato Certified Integration Professional or similar certifications.
  

• Experience with Additional Tools:

• Familiarity with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier).
  
• Knowledge of workflow automation tools or other low-code/no-code platforms.
  

• Advanced Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, or microservices architectures.
  
• Experience in

  DevOps

  practices for integration development and deployment.
