Paras Hospital is hiring IP Billing Manager for Gurgaon location.

Position Overview

IP Billing Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. IP Billing Operations

• Ensure accurate & timely generation of IP bills for all admitted patients.
• Monitor daily billing entries, charge capture for procedures, consumables, medicines, investigations, and room charges.
• Coordinate with wards, pharmacy, nursing stations, diagnostics, and OT for charge accuracy.
• Ensure bill closure, discharge clearance, and recovery of payments before discharge.

2. TPA/Insurance/ Panel & Cashless Billing

• Review treatment approval status, enhance approvals, and documentation for TPA/Insurance cases.
• Coordinate with TPA desk to ensure correct package billing, adherence to approved tariffs, and timely submission.
• Prevent revenue leakage by strict monitoring of inclusions/exclusions under packages and policies.
• Ensure Timely bill submission to the dispatch department.

3. Revenue Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct periodic bill audits, verify corrections, and reduce billing errors.
• Implement tariff revisions, check tariff adherence across departments.
• Monitor credit billing and ensure documentation as per hospital & statutory norms.
• Adhere to NABH, IRDA, and internal billing policies.

4. Patient Experience & Issue Resolution

• Address billing-related queries from patients & family members professionally.
• Explain estimates, package breakups, and billing summary when required.
• Guide IP Billing Executives and manage escalations effectively.

5. Team Management & Reporting

• Lead, train, and supervise IP billing executives and cashiers.
• Plan duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS such as: Billing revenue, Discount reports, Package Utilization, TPA receivables, outstanding, etc.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of hospital billing systems, package billing & TPA policies.
• Proficient in Hospital Information Systems (HIS)/ERP software.
• Excellent communication and patient handling skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Team leadership and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce / Hospital Administration / Finance.
• Minimum

  8+ years of experience

  in hospital billing, including

  3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role

  .
• Experience in NABH accredited hospitals preferred.
