About the Role
Were seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our team. As an iOS Developer, youll design, develop, and maintain applications for Apple devices.
What You Will Do
1. App Development: Design, develop, and maintain apps and app framework components for Mercedes-Benz Cars/Vans.
2. Task Planning: Plan development tasks using Scrum/Kanban.
3. Team Coordination: Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Code Quality: Produce and maintain well-documented code.
5. Debugging: Debug and fix bugs.
6. Code Reviews: Perform code reviews.
7. Unit Testing: Perform unit testing (manual and automated).
What You Need to Be Successful
1. iOS Experience: 5-7 years of experience in iOS native application development.
2. Technical Skills:
- SwiftUI
- RxSwift
- iOS frameworks (Foundation, AV Foundation, Network Extension)
- Design patterns (MVVM, VIPER, MVP)
- Dependency managers (CocoaPods, SPM, Carthage)
3. Backend Integration: Experience integrating with backend systems through web services.
4. Database Knowledge: Knowledge of SQLite (FMDB or GRDB).
Bonus Points if You Have
1. Automotive Experience: Experience working in automotive infotainment devices.
2. Cross-Platform Development: Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform/cross-platform software development.
3. CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins and Fastlane for CI/CD.
What Makes You Eligible
1. App Store Experience: Successful track record in developing iOS apps published in the App Store.
2. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in iOS SDK, Swift, and XCode.
3. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with the team.
