Invivo Pharmacology Scientist

You will be responsible for executing the assigned in vivo efficacy studies in the metabolic disorder therapeutic area. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting assigned research projects, including experiments utilizing current concepts and recognized standard techniques. - Setting up experimental designs, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions from the progress. - Recording laboratory observations in lab notebooks, databases, and documenting the experimental designs. - Performing data analysis, calculations for the experiment results, and summarizing the research to communicate the results to the supervisor. For this role, the educational qualifications required are: - M.Pharm in Pharmacology - M.V.Sc in Pharmacology/Pathology - M.Sc in Neuroscience/Biochemistry/Biotechnology You should have 1 - 6 years of industrial experience and possess the following technical/functional skills: - Hands-on experience in executing CNS disease models, including psychiatric disorders and neurological conditions. - Proficiency in animal behavioral observation, quantification, stereotaxic surgery, microdialysis, cannulation techniques, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. - Ability to work independently or with a team on in-vivo efficacy experiments in the relevant therapeutic area. - Experience in handling rodents and non-rodents, dosing, bleeding, injections, and surgical modalities. - Providing technical analysis and reporting outcomes of research projects. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
