Position: AC Technician

Roles and Resposibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and service air conditioning and HVAC systems, including split and centralized units.
• Diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and replace defective components such as compressors, pumps, motors, or control systems.
• Operate and manage building automation systems related to cooling, including remote monitoring and alarm response.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, electrical, and facility standards, often reporting to a supervisor or building manager.
• Communicate with building occupants and management to explain issues, provide repair estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders, and update maintenance logs as per company requirements.
• May be required to work after hours for emergency repairs or critical system failures.
• Provide technical support or guidance to junior technicians or coordinate with external contractors as needed.

Position: Technician

Roles and Resposibilities

• Operation of Power control and Motor control Centre
• Operation of Diesel Generator set
• Operation and Maintenance of UPS, distribution system.
• Basic repair of lab electrical equipment for Rotavapors, Stirrers, Chiller and vacuum pumps etc.,
• Assist Lab equipments technician during its repair and troubleshooting
• Maintain electrical readings, switching ON and OFF of assets during non-working hours.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, equipment inventory and service reports.
• Monitor shift activities
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Training shall be provided to the personnel on the operation and maintenance of electrical systems
