The role of Investment Risk Portfolio Risk Monitoring Assistant Vice President (AVP) at DWS in Pune, India involves monitoring and analyzing portfolio risks across various risk types and asset classes. As part of the Investment Risk team, you will be responsible for overseeing investment risk in fiduciary portfolios, including market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk. Your role will include conducting risk monitoring, analysis, and reporting, as well as preparing materials for governing bodies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct portfolio risk monitoring, analysis, and reporting across different risk types and asset classes - Monitor Swing Pricing and conduct analyses on transaction costs and liquidity management tools - Perform data quality analysis and recalculation of risk metrics - Calibrate scenarios and parameterize models - Prepare Investment Risk materials for governing bodies - Support DWS Risk projects, including Swing Pricing and others Skills and Experience: - University degree in Finance or a quantitative field, Chartered Financial Analyst or Financial Risk Manager designations preferred - Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to various risk functions - Proficiency in analytical models for financial instruments - Previous experience with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin is advantageous - Strong knowledge of risk management across different instrument types and risk disciplines - Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and strong organizational abilities - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python DWS offers a range of benefits including leave policies, parental leaves, reimbursement under childcare assistance, sponsorship for certifications, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
