Investment Portfolio Manager

Role Overview: As an Investment Portfolio Manager, your primary role will be to define investment strategies and asset allocation based on prevailing market conditions. You will need to stay updated with equity and debt markets by reviewing investment reports and participating in con-calls. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and managing fund selection models, conducting product due diligence, and setting financial goals for clients. Your expertise will be crucial in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing. Moreover, you will collaborate with the sales team to enhance product penetration through research support. Key Responsibilities: - Define investment strategy and asset allocation based on market conditions. - Stay informed about equity and debt markets through investment reports and con-calls. - Develop and manage fund selection models. - Conduct product due diligence to assess qualitative aspects. - Set financial goals and prepare investment proposals for clients. - Implement asset allocation and construct portfolios. - Review and rebalance portfolios as needed. - Collaborate with the sales team to support product penetration. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of asset classes including equity, fixed income, structured products, real estate, FX, commodities, and international markets. - Proficiency in wealth management products such as mutual funds, portfolio management services, alternative investment funds, and listed investments. - Understanding of taxation implications for various investment products. - Familiarity with research and portfolio software like Morning Star, Invest well, Bloomberg, etc. - Strong analytical, interpretative, and networking skills. - Integrity, ability to establish trust, self-driven, and a team player. - Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines. - Strong Excel sheet and presentation skills.
