Role Overview: KPMG in India is seeking an Associate to join their Corporate Finance, Transactions, and Restructuring team based in Delhi. The Corporate Finance team at KPMG is known for providing expert transaction advisory services related to mergers, acquisitions, and fund-raising initiatives for large and medium corporates across various sectors. As an Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of complex transactions and will play a key role in areas such as financial modeling, financial analysis, valuation, research, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare deal books and financial models - Conduct financial analysis and valuation - Perform research work related to transactions, including data mining from sources like Bloomberg and Capital IQ - Manage client data rooms for finance, tax, and legal due diligence processes - Build credibility with clients as a representative of KPMG Corporate Finance Services - Provide support for proposals and business development - Assist in the deal negotiation process with necessary analysis - Contribute to the effective functioning of the team and boost team morale - Maintain contact and relationships with clients throughout the transaction process - Assist in other transaction-related facets to ensure successful deal closure - Support the team in sector coverage and deal ideation for the sectors covered Qualifications Required: - Have 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in M&A/Deal Advisory or similar environment - Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Ability to work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and handle tough client conditions that may require extended working hours - Strong educational background with a CA qualification (ideally 1st attempt) and an MBA degree from a reputed institute - Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Willingness to travel within India - Strong soft skills including interpersonal skills, team skills, and both verbal and written communication abilities Please note that the job posting did not include any additional details about the company.,
