Role Overview: Origin40 is a long-term buyout vehicle focused on acquiring and scaling enduring businesses across Healthcare and Technology. As an Investment Fellow at Origin40, you will collaborate closely with the GP to execute the fund's thesis. This hands-on role requires individuals with curiosity, structure, and maturity, making it suitable for MBAs, pre-MBAs with a background in consulting, investing, or banking, as well as mid-career professionals seeking a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Build market maps and develop sector-level views to support investment decisions - Identify potential acquisition targets and engage with founders to evaluate businesses - Gain exposure to scouting, evaluating, and transacting buyout deals - Present a clear point of view through strong analytical and communication skills - Utilize AI-native workflows for research and diligence depth - Directly engage with founders, advisors, and operators with maturity and preparation Qualifications Required: Must Have: - 2-5 years of experience in consulting, investing, banking, or operating roles - Prior exposure to due diligence, financial modeling, or structured evaluation - Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present a clear point of view - Curiosity and comfort with AI-native workflows to expand research and diligence depth - Ability to engage directly with founders, advisors, and operators with maturity and preparation Good to Have: - MBA or pre-MBA background with transaction or strategy experience - Experience building investment theses, sector deep-dives, or market scans - Familiarity with CRM tools, sourcing systems, or deal tracking workflows - Exposure to India's real economy sectors or family-owned businesses - Strong writing skills for memos, diligence summaries, or IC notes Great to Have: - A track record of contributing to live transactions or running diligence processes - Experience in high-context founder conversations or fragmented markets - A personal thesis on what quality looks like in sub-50 million buyouts - Comfort working in small teams with broad ownership and limited structure - Ability to blend traditional diligence with modern, AI-assisted sourcing and evaluation,
