Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst (CA Inter) to join our

team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, due

diligence, and deal evaluation, especially in the context of small and medium enterprises

(SMEs). This role is critical in supporting the assessment of new ventures and investment

opportunities by conducting thorough financial reviews and viability studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial due diligence for potential investments, including startups, SMEs,

and new business ventures.

• Analyze Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and other financial statements to

assess financial health and risks.

• Evaluate business models, market dynamics, and operational metrics to

determine viability and growth potential.

• Assist in the preparation of investment memos, executive summaries, and

recommendation reports for internal stakeholders or clients.

• Coordinate with promoters/founders to collect relevant data and clarify financial

information.

• Support the investment team in identifying red flags, valuation gaps, and

compliance issues.

• Work closely with internal teams (legal, tax, advisory) during transaction execution.

• Monitor ongoing performance of portfolio companies and track key financial

indicators post-investment.

Required Qualifications:

• CA Intermediate (IPCC) qualified with 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial

due diligence, auditing, or investment analysis.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting standards, and basic

valuation principles.

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; working knowledge of financial modeling

is a plus.

• Ability to assess business plans, perform ratio analysis, and interpret financial

trends.

• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

• Good communication skills for interacting with clients, founders, and internal teams.

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience with investment firms, boutique advisory firms, or CA firms

involved in transaction advisory or M&A support.

• Exposure to SME sectors, startups, or early-stage ventures.

• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
