Investment Accountant

Role Overview: As an Investment Accountant in the JV Finance Team based in India, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance manager and wider finance team in investment accounting across the UK operating property portfolios. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with Europe Finance teams, QX team, and auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare month-end and quarter-end reporting packs, year-end reporting activities, and supporting schedules for holding & Propco entities. - Conduct quarterly consolidations across multi-property portfolios in residential special purpose vehicles. - Assist in the preparation of quarterly lender reporting, including cash waterfalls, compliance certificates, and covenant calculations. - Support in preparing investor reporting and consolidated audited financial statements within investor and lender reporting deadlines. - Prepare subsidiary financial statements and supporting schedules for residential portfolios. - Manage key audit components and requirements, including calculation of investment level management fees. - Review quarterly VAT Returns and assist in providing information for annual Tax Computations for subsidiaries. Qualifications Required: - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). - 5 years of post-qualification experience in the real estate sector is desirable. - Previous experience in financial accounting software, with Yardi experience being a benefit. - Excellent written and numerical skills. - Thorough understanding of accounting policies and procedures. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
