Role Purpose

To manage and control inventory operations across fashion and apparel retail locations, with a strong focus on saree retail stores, ensuring stock accuracy, ERP compliance, efficient stock movement, and adherence to defined processes.

Mandatory Experience

• Must have experience in Fashion Retail or Apparel Retail.
  • Mandatory experience in Saree Retail Stores. • Experience handling high SKU, design-wise, color-wise, and fabric-wise inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory across stores and warehouses.
  • Ensure SKU-wise, design-wise, color-wise, and size-wise stock accuracy. • Manage inter-store and warehouse stock transfers (STN). • Track slow-moving, non-moving, and ageing inventory. • Ensure ERP updates for GRN, PO, STN, sales, and returns. • Coordinate with ERP/IT team for stock mismatch resolution. • Follow up on Purchase Orders and vendor deliveries. • Prepare vendor-wise, location-wise inventory MIS with product images and prices. • Support audits and management reporting. • Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.

• Strong knowledge of fashion/apparel inventory processes.
  • ERP inventory management expertise. • High attention to detail. • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. • Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Fashion Management, Commerce, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 35 years of experience in inventory control within fashion/apparel retail.
Saree retail experience is mandatory.

• Inventory accuracy.
  • ERP transaction closure timelines. • Stock availability vs sales demand. • Reduction in inventory variance and ageing stock. • Compliance with company processes.
