Inventory Manager

As a Stock Inventory Manager at our scientific lab in Noida, your role will involve overseeing inventory management with meticulous attention to detail. With a background in science and at least 3 years of experience in inventory management within a laboratory or related scientific environment, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating with the purchase department, managing stock issuance, and ensuring consistency between physical and software inventory records. Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: - Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for main stock, working stock, and consumption stock. - Regularly review and update critical inventory levels, promptly informing the purchase department for timely procurement. - Stock Issuance and Maintenance: - Issue items to the lab as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of stock movements. - Organize main stock and working stock areas for accessibility and efficiency. - Record and manage consumption data accurately. - Physical Stock Verification: - Conduct regular physical stock audits to ensure actual stock matches recorded inventory levels. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and software stock records. - Outgoing Stock Management: - Verify invoices or challans from the sales team before releasing outgoing products. - Ensure all outgoing stock is properly documented and accounted for. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions, including consumption sheets. - Prepare and present inventory reports as required by management. Qualifications: - Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree in a science discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field). - Experience: - Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in inventory management, preferably in a scientific or laboratory setting. - Skills: - Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills to interact effectively with various departments.
