Job Opening: BIW (Body-in-White) Design Engineer Freshers
A BIW Design Engineer (Jigs & Fixtures) plays an important role in the automotive industry. As a fresher, you will get the opportunity to learn and contribute to the design and development of jigs and fixtures used in the Body-in-White (BIW) assembly process. You will work with senior engineers to ensure precision, accuracy, and efficiency in automotive manufacturing.Internship & Employment DetailsPhase 1 – Internship: Selected candidates will undergo for 12k per month stipend for 6 months. During this period, you will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to real-time BIW projects.Phase 2 – Permanent Role: Upon successful completion of the internship and confirmation, you will be offered a permanent position in the company with 2.4 per annum package with clause of( minimum period which we shuld work for 3 years if we break the clause 50,000 /- shuld be paid if it is not completedResponsibilities / Learning OpportunitiesAssist in developing concepts, 3D models, and 2D detailing of BIW fixtures.Gain knowledge in concept design of Geo Stations, Re-spot, and Grippers.Learn about BIW manufacturing processes and assembly standards.Exposure to Welding Line Processes (Spot Welding, ARC Welding).Collaborate with the team to understand layouts and process requirements.Support in preparing design documentation and reports.Adapt to project requirements and meet deadlines under guidance.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: NTTF/Diploma / B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).Freshers are eligible (0–1 year experience).Basic knowledge of CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).Understanding of basic engineering drawing and GD&T will be an advantage.Strong willingness to learn BIW processes and tools.Good communication and teamwork skills.Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.Benefits (Post Confirmation)Health InsuranceProvident FundOn-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineersCareer growth opportunities in BIW designWork Location Bengaluru, Karnataka (Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate before starting work)
