Job Description

Develop and implement strategies to strengthen international presence in medical and health sciences.

Work closely with Deans, Research Centres, and Institutional Heads to align internationalisation goals.

Connect faculty and researchers with international collaborators

Foster interdisciplinary projects combining medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, and nanotechnology

Support collaborative grant proposals and participation in global research consortia

Encourage and facilitate co-authored publications with international collaborators.

Track and report joint research outputs, citations, and academic impact metrics.

Assist in organising joint conferences, symposiums, and workshops to enhance research visibility.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for institutional and accreditation purposes.

Identify and pursue international funding opportunities (EU Horizon, NIH, WHO, etc ) relevant to medical sciences.

Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with leading international universities, research institutions, and healthcare organisations.

Facilitate MoUs, joint research programs, and faculty/student exchange initiatives in medical and allied fields.

Coordinate visits, delegations, and collaborative meetings between Amrita and partner institutions.

Strong understanding of global medical research ecosystems and funding frameworks.

Excellent communication, networking, and organisational skills.

Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.

Proficiency in proposal writing and familiarity with research databases and metrics.

Minimum 5 years of experience in international collaboration, academic partnerships, or research management.
