• Timely and accurate reporting: Reporting of financial and other information to regulator on periodic basis in a time bound manner. To handle internal financial reporting as per approved accounting norms.
• To ensure compliance with local regulatory & Bank guidelines with respect to Financial Reporting, Taxation etc.
• Liaison with - internal and external auditors, head office departments, F & A (CO), regulators for resolution of any issue/ matters: Effective and meaningful liaison with external parties including regulatory authorities, auditors etc.
• Active representation of branch financial data in a meaningful manner to Branch Management from time to time. Creating effective and meaningful reports which can enable the branch to improve upon various aspects like cost, processes, income etc.
• To ensure true and fair presentation of the financial statements of the Branch in accordance with guidelines from the head office

External:

Customers, Consultants, GIFT City Authorities, IFSCA, RBI, Statutory Auditors

Internal: CEO, Departmental Heads and all the Branch Staff Various functionaries in Central Office departments like Forex Reco, Risk, Treasury Operations, Corporate Credit, WBP, Trade Finance Centre, SL, F&A Internal Audit, IT, Compliance etc,

• Over 5 years experience in Finance & accounts of a Bank or Finance company/Audit Firms/Taxation etc.
• Must have a good understanding of Bookkeeping and regulatory compliances
• Conversant with advanced Excel and MS office suite
• Good verbal communication & Drafting skills
