Internal Audit & Control Specialist

As an Intermediate Software Developer at BCE Global Tech, you will play a crucial role in evaluating internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes to ensure compliance with Indian regulations. You will conduct internal audits, identify control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions. Your responsibilities will also include documenting audit procedures and findings, monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations, and assisting in the development of internal control policies and procedures aligned with Indian regulations and best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with process owners to enhance internal controls, contribute to the development of annual budgets and financial reports, and maintain financial models to aid in business decisions. Staying updated on relevant Indian regulations and best practices will be essential, as you prepare audit reports and presentations for management. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, or public accounting in India. A strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and regulations, internal control frameworks, financial statements, and audit methodologies is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also essential. Possessing relevant certifications like CA, CIA, CPA, or CISA would be advantageous. Your skills in risk assessment, internal control evaluation, audit planning and execution, report writing, data analysis, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of Indian regulations and accounting standards will be instrumental in succeeding in this role.
